/Oklahoma News Articles/ - MADILL, OK, January 30, 2008 - Washington D C author Michael Weisskopf wins NBR.org's 2007 Best Biographical Book Literary Award for his book, Blood Brothers. "Blood Brothers tells the moving story of three soldiers, who all lost limbs due to wounds inflicted in the War in Iraq. Weisskopf's insight into this heroic passage is strenghtened by his having sustained similar wounds while he was "imbedded" with soldiers operating on the battlefield. Blood Brothers includes all four men's trials from the horror of their wounds, their treatment within the war theater, and their experiences in Ward 57, at Walter Reed Medical center, the wing reserved for amputees. "
